Janet Berry is a University of Maine graduate and a classroom teacher. She works mainly
in oils and acrylics. Her landscapes, seascapes and flowers are painted with an
impressionistic approach. Her love of gardening is evident in the vibrant floral paintings.
She has won merit and purchase prize awards at art shows where she exhibits most of her
work. Janet feels it's very exciting to have captured the beauty of the Maine Coast, or the
color and shapes of unique flowers and transferred them to the canvas producing paintings
that others may enjoy.
